Tim Killeen
Tim Killeen is a Property & Casualty Insurance Advisor in the San Antonio office
of Frost Insurance Agency. As a 30 year insurance veteran and Certified Insurance
Counselor, Tim is responsible for servicing existing clients and providing risk
management expertise and consultation with a special focus on Independent School
Districts, Public Entities and Self-Insurance programs. Large complex commercial
accounts in industries such as Transportation, Oil & Gas and Real Estate are also
areas of specialty and expertise.
Prior to Frost, Tim served as a Sr. Executive with Wells Fargo Insurance in the San
Antonio & Austin regions. Wells Fargo was one of the largest insurance brokers in
the nation providing risk management and insurance services to Public Entities and
School Districts. Prior to Wells Fargo, Tim was the P&C Department Manager for
Brown & Brown Lone Star Insurance Agency. At Brown & Brown, Tim was
instrumental in managing and growing a significant portfolio of Texas Public Entity
business as well as many other large commercial accounts. Tim is experienced and
well-regarded with insurance carriers, wholesale brokers, MGA’s, and risk pools
throughout Texas. By understanding the unique needs and risks associated with
large commercial accounts and Public Entities, Tim has helped many achieve cost
savings and implement effective loss control programs.
From 1992 through 1998, Tim played professional baseball in the Oakland Athletics
and San Diego Padres organizations advancing up through AAA as a catcher.
Tim attended the University of Iowa and earned his Bachelor degree in Economics.
He is a licensed P&C insurance agent in the states of TX, NM, AZ, CA, NY, MI,
and others.
Tim currently serves on the Independent Insurance Agents of San Antonio
Association and is the Chairman of the Independents Insurance Agents Foundation
of San Antonio. He has also served on several boards of directors for non-profits,
schools and community service organizations. He has three grown children and two
grandchildren. He and his wife (and the dog) enjoy this empty nest season of life.
